Go Organic

It may be difficult at first but why don't we give it a try?

I have been taking a second look at ordinary household products ever since I had my baby. Does it have harmful chemicals? Will it have adverse effects on our health, on the planet, if we use it?

According to the website Human Heart Nature, organic products are those that are processed with absolutely no synthetic chemicals. From food that is organically grown, beauty products, household cleaning materials, even fabric, many are jumping in to the organic lifestyle.

I am certainly including in my resolutions to consume mostly organic products from now on. A good website to start shopping for organic household products, organic baby products, & organic beauty products is Ecomarket, and Human Heart Nature.

Start now. Do your part in caring for the planet, and for your own health as well.

Here is an article from the website Blorganics.com, naming 8 reasons to Go Organic in food:

  1. A non-organic fruit has an average of 20 pesticides in it.
  2. Along with the farm and dairy products that you take, you also ingest drugs, growth hormones, and chemicals given to the animals.
  3. Organic food has a high content of minerals, vitamins, and fiber. It retains this high content of nutrients for a longer time.
  4. Taking in high levels of nutrients increases the resistance power of your body and keeps diseases at bay.
  5. You feel more energetic, as organic food has lower toxin and chemical levels that causes lethargy.
  6. Organic farms make efficient use of water resources and do not percolate pollutants and nitrogen from their soil.
  7. Organic producers have to meet strict industry standards before their produce is approved for marketing.
  8. Organic food tastes better than non-organic food.
